        Subject: [dspam-users] 3.4.8 - Quarantine Delivery Issues

        Currently have the following setup:

Incoming Mail --SMTP--> Postfix --LMTP--> DSPAM --SMTP--> Mail
server

So it looks like I have two problems. One being LMTP client is
not configured correctly, and two, signature retrieval is failing.
Looking for help on both these issues as I'm not seeing something here.

Ok well after some more head banging, it looks like I've
resolved my issues. LMTP client is working fine, it's just that
apparently, there is no way to debug the LMTP processes, or at least it
requries something more than --debug --daemon and compilation with
--enable-versbose-debug. When using the dspam executable, with or
without '--client' I get full logs in dspam.debug. However when using
dspamc with '--client', I don't get any debugging at all.

The signature retrieval issue was because I left the following
settings uncommented in the configuration:

        ParseToHeaders off
        ChangeModeOnParse off
        ChangeUserOnParse off

Changing them to off as shown fixed my retrieval issues. Keep in
mind that I have no intention of using spam aliases, all retraining is
to be done via the history. I'm thinking of playing with 3.5.3 so I can
take clamsmtpd out of the picture and just use dspam with clamav, but
that's another story.
