Neat. It works well on RHAS3.

The only thing I can find is the pid - dspam (3.6) doesn't generate any
pid, so one'd have to add to the script to make one - but since you use
killproc for stopping the daemon, I can't see that there's much point.

Yo.

In the same spirit I attach an RH rpm spec file that works for me on
RHAS3 and should work on RH(AS|EL)4 as well. People have to change
things under "configure" to suit themselves and change the dspam Version
as necessary. Also, it needs your dspam init file (renamed to
dspam.init) in the SOURCES directory, along with the tarball. It's
designed to install to / rather than /usr/local in keeping with Red
Hat's policy; it gives only the one rpm - I couldn't be bothered to add
a devel package. I'm new to spec writing, so any improvements are
welcome :)
